Overview
Follow these instructions to update Firmware for Yealink.
Issue
A Firmware update improves the functionality and features of your device. It can provide fixes to any performance issues that may occur.
Therefore, we recommend that you can update the firmware of Teams phones to the latest version.
The following sections introduce how to update firmware from the phone web user interface. If you want to update the firmware from the Teams Admin Center, see Manage Devices on Teams Admin Center for more information.
NOTE
We recommend that devices running the latest firmware should not be downgraded to an earlier firmware version. The new firmware is compatible with old configuration parameters but not vice versa.
For T58A/T56A Teams devices, if you upgrade the firmware from 58.15.0.20 to 58.15.0.41 (or later), you need to upgrade to 58.15.0.26 first and then upgrade the firmware to 58.15.0.41 (or later).
